My thought on the movie : Here I was, watching another Jackie Chan’s movie. Growing up watching his movie, this actor/stuntman/director/producer/singer definitely has a special spot in my heart. I always love his stunts and acting. This time is not an exception as well. The Foreigner is a brilliant movie. It tells about how far a father’s love towards his daughter could bring a man to the justice for her daughter’s death. The message of a father’s love was strong throughout the movie, but this movie is not only about that. It consists the elements of power, political issues, etc. The action, thrill and stunts just complement the movie perfectly. The plot was built up nicely and as the story went by, slowly, bits and pieces was revealed, which I think was absolutely brilliant. The ending of the movie was great as everyone who deserved to be punished had paid their sentence and Quan(Jackie) had finally get the justice he always wanted, which I think was perfect. I just love this movie overall. For a movie junkie who doesn’t enjoy thriller/action that much, you can trust me on this one.
